Our Story
Virginia WiSTEM Foundation was founded on a simple belief: every girl in Virginia deserves to see herself in STEM. We exist to make that vision real — by building a network of school chapters, connecting students with mentors and resources, and creating spaces where young women can lead, grow, and belong.
What we do
We charter local WiSTEM chapters in middle and high schools throughout Virginia. Each chapter is student-led, faculty-supported, and connected to a broader community of peers, educators, and professionals who are invested in their success.
